Sunday Live with MJ - Team Time Shoebox Swap

Being a Demonstrator is so rewarding and being a member of a team creates the opportunity for life long friendships.  This past weekend I attended a Shoe-box Swap Team Time Event.  Team Time Events give you time to stamp, socialize, use products you may not have in your own collection, learn techniques, and just plain have a ton of fun.  Team members that were able to attend were instructed to create a project design, and then prep kits for everyone attending to make that project.  The sample project, the kits, and the products needed to recreate the project are placed in a "shoe-box" type container.  While at the event the Shoe-boxes get passed around and each attendee gets to create one of each of the projects.  It's so much fun, and now I have 18 project samples to share with all of you, (see video).

For my project I used the Capture the Good stamp set.  I have a passion for photography so this stamp set was a "must have" on my wish list.

inspired by Million Sales Achiever Tami White.
Thank you Tami!

I created this Z-Fold Card for my Shoe-box Swap Project.
Supplies & Measurements:
  • Basic Gray Card-stock - Card Base 4 1/4" x 11" Scored at 2 3/4" & 5 1/2"
  • Coastal Cabana Card-stock - Two 2 5/8" x 4 1/8" & one 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
  • Whisper White Card-stock - 4" x 5 1/4" & 4 x 2 1/2"
  • Basic Gray, Coastal Cabana, & Whisper White Banners inside layer are 3" x 1/2" dovetailed to various lengths as shown in image.
  • Whisper White Scrap large enough to stamp camera image and fussy cut out.
  • Glimmer Enamel Dots
  • Capture the Good Stamp Set
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
  • Clear Mount Blocks
  • Paper Snips
  • Snail Adhesive
  • Bone Folder
  • Paper Trimmer
When the Z-Fold Card is closed it creates the illusion
of a complete stamped image of the camera.

When the card is open, the inside smaller panel has the portion of the
camera that is trimmed from the camera on the front of the card.

When you unfold the card, the camera to the left
creates an illusion that it is a solid stamped image.

The key with this technique is the placement of the
camera images when assembling the card layers.
