The June Paper Pumpkin Kit is designed to help you share random acts of kindness. The kit includes supplies to create 16 note-cards that fit perfectly inside the cute little beach themed pocket for you to carry in your purse, keep in your desk at work, or keep handy in your car. The key to this kit is to be sure you create these amazing little note-cards and keep them handy, so you can spread a little love this summer.
Here is a replay of my video unveiling the June 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit.
Be sure to watch as I demonstrate just how wonderful this kit is,
and how easy it is to assemble.
The finished projects created in the image below is how the kit instructs:
I placed 8 note-cards and envelopes in the beach themed pocket, along with my business cards that fit perfectly inside each note-card. It is going to be so great for me to have these on hand to share what I love while sharing A Little Smile.
I always like to create alternate projects with my kit.
Here is a full size card that I absolutely love and it
features the retired Everyday Jars Dies.
You can almost smell the ocean air.
This card uses additional Stampin' Up!® products:
Coastal Cabana Cardstock
Whisper White Thick Cardstock
Crumb Cake Cardstock
Calypso Coral Light Stampin' Blends
Calypso Coral Ink
Crumb Cake Ink
Coastal Cabana Ink
Magical Mermaid Stamp Set
Waterfront Stamp Set
Silver Foil Paper
I tore pieces of Crumb Cake Cardstock to create a rough edge, sponged the edges with
Crumb Cake Ink and stamped the top layer with the sandy beach border
stamp from the Magical Mermaid Stamp Set.
Magical Mermaid Stamp Set #151234
The water was created with the Coastal Cabana Cardstock torn the same way as I did with the Crumb Cake Cardstock layers. I used the Waterfront Stamp Set to create waves using Coastal Cabana Ink.
Waterfront Stamp Set #146386
The sky on the top layer was sponged lightly with Coastal Cabana Ink. Once the top layer of the card was assembled I used the die to cut the mason jar. I adhered the die cut jar to the card base then used Foam Adhesive Strips to create the shaker card.
I colored the Glimmer Paper Starfish using my Calypso Coral Light Stampin' Blends,
but be cautious as you will want to lightly tap and dab the ink onto the
Glimmer Paper rather than using brush strokes in order to prevent the
brush tip of the Blends from getting damaged.
All the products listed above can be found in my online store.
Here are a few more projects I made using elements from the kit
and a few additional coordinating products:
The card images below are of a Z-Fold Card where I used Old Olive Cardstock for the card base and Whisper White Cardstock for the inside layer. I used a note card from the kit on the top layer. I sponged the coral reef on the top layer (left side of card),
using the Vellum that was left from the coral reef die cut images as a stencil,
and sponged Crumb Cake and Old Olive Ink to create a background.
In addition to cards, I created a scrapbook page where I used elements from the kit and a 12 x 12 sheet of Crumb Cake Cardstock, which you can find in the Neutrals 12 x 12 pack of cardstock.
There will be photos added to this scrapbook page from our very first visit to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina where my step-son served as a Marine
and was stationed at the time of our visit.
We were able to enjoy time at the ocean when we visited Topsail Beach.
The seashells I added to this page were found when searching Topsail Beach
for seashells and other amazing finds.
The wood-grain fence was created with the Linen Thread and
wood-grain banners in the kit. I cut the banners in half lengthwise and
wrapped the Linen Thread around each fence post.
Again I used the Magical Mermaid Stamp Set to help create the sandy beach.
The sentiment below is not a stamp, but a fortune from a cookie
I had from a local restaurant in Camp Lejeune, NC.
It really was a perfect message for this scrapbook page,
"Value your present moments", is what it states,
and what better words to accompany such amazing memories
of our very first visit to Camp Lejeune,
and what great words to live by.
Please be sure to find me on Facebook at MJ's Shady Inkers.
I have a lot of fun ideas to share with you there,
and opportunities for prize patrol drawings.
I hope you enjoyed these projects.
Thank you for stopping by.
Happy Stamping!
