Kylie's Demonstrator Training April 2020 Blog Hop

Thank you for joining me and all the amazing Demonstrators from around the world that are participating in this blog hop.  I am so excited that you are here, and that I have the opportunity to participate in this Demonstrator Training Program with Kylie Bertucci and fellow Demonstrators from around the world.

I decided during this time of social distancing that I would pay tribute to all the 2020 high school seniors and the 2020 college graduates.  I created this card specifically with them in mind.

My card honors the 2020 senior class at HCS
with school colors of purple and white.
Go Lakers!!!

Here are the ingredients & measurements:

  • Gorgeous Grape Cardstock for card base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"
  • Whisper White Cardstock (2) cut for inside and outside layers 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Brights 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP):
    • Gorgeous Grape Gingham DSP (2) strips cut 1/2" x 5"
    • Gorgeous Grape Script DSP strip cut 1/4" x 5"
  • Silver Foil Strip cut 1/4" x 5"
    • The DSP and Silver Foil strips are trimmed on sides after adhered to Whisper White layer.
  • Silver Foil Stitched Star Die cut image from the Stitched Stars Dies
  • Gorgeous Grape Ink
  • Morning Star Stamp Set for sentiment
  • Glimmer Enamel Dots
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels

The sentiment "Each Day is a New Beginning" is so inspiring now and always.  Every moment we have is so precious. These words will give the Graduating Class of 2020 a sense of warmth and reassurance, and even though their school experiences in the last few months before graduation have been different, we can reassure them that each and every day is a new beginning and a blessing for a bright future.

To all you seniors getting ready to receive your diplomas, take them with pride, and know that you are loved and that the HCS community is so proud of your accomplishments and what you will bring to this world in the future.
Blessings to all & be well!
